Chancel  Choir - The Chancel Choir leads the singing of hymns and responses at the 10:30 am Sunday service.  The choir is open to all people who would like to sing.  No audition is required and you do not need to know how to read music, however, you do need to sing on pitch and carry a tune.  The choir has Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass sections and people are needed in each.  The choir meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. and again at 10:15 am on Sunday mornings to warm up and sing at the Sunday Services.  Music selections include the standard anthem repertoire both contemporary and traditional.  Come lend your voice to the group.  Contact any choir member or Jack Hamill at 636-397-6406.

Praise Band – The Praise Band sings and plays recently composed Christian Music and newer settings of hymns for the Church.  If you sing, play guitar (electric, acoustic, or bass), keyboard, or drum set, then this group is for you.  The Praise Band plays on the 2^nd Sunday of the month and meets on Tuesday evenings for practice.  Contact Mark Weidinger for more details.  314-989-0039.

Performance Data – 3 Rehearsal Format – In today’s busy life, many people cannot make a weekly commitment.   If this is true in your life, this format is for you.  A date for performance is selected and then three rehearsals are arranged before that date.  If you can rearrange your schedule for a month to accommodate the rehearsals and performance, then consider participating in the groups below:

Hamilton Instrumental Ensemble – This group is open to anyone who plays a musical instrument and has had experience playing the instrument.  We welcome anyone who would like to play but hasn’t played in a while, maybe since high school.  Contact Joy or Darrell Faires (314-521-6051) or Jack Hamill (636-397-6406) for more information.

Hamilton Hand Bells – Hand bells are back!  If you are interested in ringing, this group is for you.  The group will provide music on selected Sundays.  Rehearsals will be arranged before or after the Sunday service and last 45 minutes.   Beginners are welcome and there is no need to know how to read music – we will teach you what you need to do.  Contact Joy Faires (314-521-6051) for more information.

Small Ensembles – Throughout the years, some Hamilton members participate in small instrumental groups.  These groups meet at will and play before Sunday worship on select Sundays.  Rehearsals are held as needed by participating members.

Jazz Ensemble – This group plays Jazz arrangements of Hymns and Religious music.

Hamilton Saxes – This group is open to anyone who plays the saxophone (soprano, alto, tenor or baritone) and has at least one year’s experience.    This group plays on select Sundays during morning Sunday Morning worship.  If you are interested, contact Jack Hamill at 636-397-6406.
