Welcome to Sunday School at Hamilton!  We are delighted to work with you and your child.  We have a dedicated team of teachers who plan age-appropriate lessons using stories from the Bible.  During the Sunday School hour, children will have the opportunity to learn about God in a loving environment.  They will meet other children and work together as a community as they discuss the lesson and work on projects together.  Several times a year, children will also have the opportunity to participate in service projects.

 

 Our classes are as follows:

            Rainbows for Preschool and Kindergartners

            Sonbeams for First through Third Grade

            Bereans for Fourth through Sixth Grade

            Youth Class Middle School and High School

 

The schedule is:

            9:15 -   9:30  Worship and Music — Singing, Prayer, Offering,

                                    Birthday Celebrations

            9:30 - 10:00  Classes — Age level classes presenting the lesson of the day

                                     and related activities

           10:00 - 10:15  Art —  An art or craft project that is related to the lesson or

                                     the season.

Your child is an important part of our worshiping community and is welcome in our Worship Services.  For those who choose, Extended Childcare is available following the Children’s Sermon, in the Preschool Wing/Sunday School Wing.  Activity bags and Christian children’s books are available for children to use during the Worship service.  They are located in a basket and cabinet on the west side of the foyer.

 

A  nursery, located in the Choir Wing, is available for infants and babies during Sunday School and Worship.
