In alignment with our mission to cultivate the next generation of Christian leaders, Chapel serves as a cornerstone of the HCA experience. This weekly gathering integrates musical worship with biblical instruction, reinforcing the core truths taught in our classrooms. Through guest speakers and student-led presentations, we emphasize the practical application of Scripture in a corporate worship setting.
We invite the HCA family to join us in this vital time of spiritual formation every Monday afternoon at 3:00 pm in the multipurpose room.
At our school, education extends far beyond the four walls of the classroom. We believe that true leadership is rooted in service, which is why community engagement is a core pillar of our curriculum. By stepping out into the neighborhood, our students learn the value of empathy, hard work, and the profound impact of a helping hand.
Our students regularly bridge the generational gap, visiting local retirement communities to share a laugh over board games or bring holiday cheer through seasonal caroling. We also take pride in our "boots on the ground" approach to local care—whether it’s a neighborhood cleanup to keep our spaces beautiful or picking up a shovel to clear snow for those who can't.
We are proud to collaborate with renowned organizations to tackle larger challenges:
Operation Christmas Child: Students personally pack and prepare gift boxes to send joy to children across the globe.
Habitat for Humanity: Older students engage in the tangible work of building homes and hope.
The Salvation Army & SAFE: Our classes support these vital missions through dedicated volunteer hours and local outreach.
Through these initiatives, we aren't just teaching our students how to be great scholars—we are teaching them how to be compassionate, active citizens.
